The shortest, worst ending Stone Barrington novel I've read and I've read them all. Too many loose endings, not the usual anticipation of page flipping, I actually skipped ahead a few time to end the dreariness.

Indecent Exposure A Stone Barrington Novel Book 42 edition by Stuart Woods Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

I found it good as I do most Stone Barrington books. Still a bit too much political crap for me. I tend to not be political based on not really trusting politicians; but, with that said, to read Mr. Woods, all democrats are wonderful and all republicans belong in jail. Stu....they all suck. Reduce your political rantings.
Barrington is his usual suaveness. He trips into situations as usual and as usual comes out on top but we've read this all before. And woods writing continues to be overly laced with his political views that continue to diminish half of the country. Most of us aren't New York elitists but that seems to be the only view the author has anymore.
I have read all of the Stone Barrington novels. Lately, it has become more political, which I can deal with because I really liked the story line. But, this one was bad. There was no plot, no real story, and no ending. I won't be buying any more of his novels if they continue to be terrible stories.
First Stuart Woods book that I thought was below his usual writting.
I keep reading them though. So shame on me. Usual bed hopping. Did have a plot and story line. So if you like the same old. Stone Barrington and crowd you'll be just as dumb as me and keep on reading his books.
I tried this book because I wanted to read escapist fiction that required no great mental effort. This book fit the bill. Its plot if you could call it one consisted mainly of Barrington and his friend eating dinner at their favorite restaurant that has succeeded Elaine's and running around Key West with the President and her spouse and the Secretary of State without any significant security. I cannot imagine the Secret Service allowing an unidentified boat close enough to take embarrassing pictures of the Presidential party on vacation. Barrington continues to have the morals of an alley cat but that allows the author to include a number of sensual encounters with different partners to keep him occupied between dinners. This was so out of touch with any reality that I believe I will look elsewhere next time.
I have always enjoyed Stuart Wood's Stone Barrington series of books. They provide a simple source of entertainment when my mind needs a rest. This particular novel however, was written almost as if it were a part of an English Writing 101 class. The formula is entirely predictable, yet ends with the surprise ending that there isn't one. The only value of this story is its persistent itching at ones prurient senses; here, it is almost pornographic. Yet even here it fails. The characters in this series are long well developed and nothing new is added here as Stone beds female acquaintances serially. Mr. Woods is a capable author but his abilities go wanting in this novel that an English 101 student could have whipped out for an assignment over the weekend. Mr. Woods, if you desire my hard earned money, you're going to have to begin earning it by regaining my trust in your next attempt in the Stone Barrington series.
The shortest, worst ending Stone Barrington novel I've read and I've read them all. Too many loose endings, not the usual anticipation of page flipping, I actually skipped ahead a few time to end the dreariness.
