Reigning Ascent The Pearson Prophecy Book 3 eBook Jen L Grey

I really enjoyed this story and hate that the series is coming to an end. While this book continued the action and romance of the first two, I found it to also have more funny and sassy moments. I loved seeing the prophecy fully revealed and how the author chose to resolve things. I was expecting a bit more from the final battle since so much time was spent building up to it but it wasn't enough to pull me from the story. I'd recommend this series to others and hope to possibly get some spin-offs of it in the future.

Reigning Ascent The Pearson Prophecy Book 3 eBook Jen L Grey Reviews

I received an electronic copy of Reigning Ascent from author Jennifer Grey. This third installment of the Pearson Prophecy trilogy concludes the story of Ariah Pearson and the fate of Knova. The book starts right where book two left off and unlike the first two the story doesn't end on a cliffhanger. It’s fairly quick read; all parts of the tale reach a natural conclusion, and is enjoyable. I did expect more from the final battle with the buildup, but all in all it does well, esp. for a YA genre where such detail could have been too much. I am glad to have read the series from start to finish and would recommend it to Young Adult Fantasy enthusiasts.
Firstly if you haven't read the first two books in this series, go and start them! I have loved reading this series and I am so sad that this trilogy is over (
The characters have grown and come into their own as the story has progressed, with secrets revealed, friendships formed, betrayals felt and relationships healed. Some characters still make me smirk when i think of them, while others make me smirk in another way lol
The story moves at a fairly quick pace, with twists and turns, not to mention some 'oh hell no' and 'about time!' moments. So if you find yourself laughing out loud at the antics of these characters, just know you wern't the only one!
Ariah and Owen meet with King Percy in hopes of forming an alliance. Of cours ehe goes off the deep end once he realizes she is in fact alive- jerk. Ari runs into Sam and Nick once more <3
There are going to be plent y of mixed emotions when Ari is reunited with her family, some of which were kind of shocking.
The ability to have magic over the elements and the struggle is pretty incredible to me, I love elemental magic )
This story is full of twist and turns. From the beginning of book one we are taken on an incredible journey. You will fall in love an din hate with the characters throught this trilogy. It wa sso well written and the character growth/development is incredible. Sa dto the this epic trilogy end but I will always remember this one <3
I really liked Reigning Ascent, the third and final book in Jen L. Grey's The Pearson Prophecy series. I definitely think Ariah has come into her own by the last book and like how she strengthens her relationships with her family. I also thought it was quite the page turner, and, if not for my schedule, I probably could have finished it in a day or two.

I had hoped, however, for more explanation on Ariah's father and especially on the villain and his background/relationship with other key players in the story. The awaited confrontation could have been longer as well. Overall, though, it was a very enjoyable read, and I think those who like the work of Victoria Aveyard and her Red Queen series would like this one!
I agree with some of the other that this book could have went differently. It's still good don't get me wrong. I was just hoping for more. I really wanted to get to know Emerson more. Hopefully there will be a spin off for her story.
This is the third book of the trilogy, and while it’s interesting, it needs professional editing. Cut out all the meals. Edit your dialogue. This series could have so much better.
In book 3 ariha's past meets her present and it's a little rocky at first. Many of her relationships are put to the test as she finally figures out who she can trust. When the truth about ariah and the prophecy are revealed everything starts falling into place. My only complaint it is a quick read. While most if my questions were answered in the final book. I would still like to see a little for from this series. A prequel maybe?
